Zelcore Appoints Gil Rutkowski as Chief Technology Officer to Drive Company Growth

PORTLAND, Ore.–(COMMERCIAL WIRE)–Zelcore, the world’s first Web3 gateway, today announced the appointment of Gil Rutkowski as Chief Technology Officer. With years of experience designing software applications to focus on what consumers want, Rutkowski is a key addition to Zelcore’s leadership team. In this role, he will expand the value of the Zelcore platform by making decentralization simpler and more accessible to consumers as the world migrates to Web3.

Prior to Zelcore, Rutkowski was at Fjord, part of Accenture Interactive, where he specialized in designing human-centric software applications for prominent consumer brands including Apple, Allstate, Nokia, Xfinity, and many others. Rutkowski’s expertise in human-centric design and engineering at scale is key to the future of Web3 and Zelcore’s role in enabling mass adoption.

“Zelcore is the first gateway built specifically to enable mass consumer adoption of Web3. To make Web3 usability less complex, we needed a seasoned leader like Gil with a proven track record of building simple, human-centric design experiences at scale,” said Tim Tully, CEO of Zelcore. “Together with Gil, we are working hard to ease the complexities of blockchain and Web3 so that consumers can benefit from the utility the technology promises. Our vision is to enable the decentralized spirit of Zelcore and empower people to be in control of their assets and in turn their future.”

“As we enter this new and complex Web3 paradigm, I am honored to join a team that has been at the forefront with a rich feature set like no other platform,” said Rutkowski. “Zelcore is well positioned as a leader in this decentralized future. Our intention is to simplify Web3 and make its usability second nature to the consumer: a simple, intuitive and frictionless experience. I am excited to help scale this transformative technology.”

With Gil’s addition to the executive team, Zelcore’s former CTO and co-founder, Tadeas Kmenta, will step up to become co-founder and senior lead developer. In this role, Kmenta will focus exclusively on expanding the code base that supports nearly 70 blockchains and developing several key on-chain and decentralized initiatives for Zelcore that will keep it at the forefront of innovation.
