When do the college football playoff standings come out?

The 2022-23 college football playoff semifinals and national championship game are scheduled for December 31, 2022 and January 9, 2023.

But before the four semifinalist teams play for the title, the College Football Playoffs Selection Committee will publish six sets of the top 25 rankings throughout the season. The first is Tuesday, November 1.

These rankings will be published weekly through November and early December. The final top 25, which will reveal the four teams that will play in the College Football Playoff semifinals, will be announced on Sunday, December 4.

The release schedule for the college football playoff standings stretches across six days of announcements this fall.
