Universal Display Corporation Announces Winners of 2022 Pioneering Technology and Innovative Research UDC Awards at IMID Korea

EWING, New Jersey–(COMMERCIAL WIRE)–Universal Display Corporation (Nasdaq: OLED), which enables energy-efficient displays and lighting with its UniversalPHOLED® technology and materials, today announced the recipients of the award UDC Award for Innovative Research in Organic Electronics & Display and the UDC Pioneer Technology Award for Organic Electronics and Displays. These awards were presented at the 22nd International Meeting on Information Display (IMID 2022) conference on August 25.the in Busan, Korea by Dr. Julie Brown, Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of Universal Display Corporation.

The 2022 UDC Award winners are:

UDC Award for Innovative Research in Organic Electronics and Display: yongjin parkHagseon Kim (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Korea), Hye-Ryung Choi (Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (SNUBH), Korea), Yongmin Jeon (Gachon University, Korea), Jung Won Shin (Seoul National University Bundang University Hospital (SNUBH), Korea) and Kyung Cheol Choi (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Korea) for his article “Wearable OLED Medical Device Attached to the Body for Therapeutic Effects.”

UDC Pioneer Technology Award in Organic Electronics and Displays: Hyung Suk Kim (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Korea), Hyung Jin Cheon (Gyeongsang National University, Korea), Donggyun Lee, Woochan Lee, Junho Kim (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Korea ), Yun-Hola Kim (Gyeongsang National University, Korea) and Seunghyup Yoo (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Korea) for their article “Information on the Design of Multiple Resonance-Induced Charge Transfer Molecules with steric hindrances for high efficiency at depth”. blue OLEDs.
