Did you finish Echoes and think there can’t possibly be other shows like this on Netflix? True, to be fair, there’s nothing quite like the twists and turns we saw on Echoes, but there are plenty of shows ready to run for their money.
Ever since Netflix released Echoes, it’s the only thing we’ve been talking about. I’m still 99 percent sure I had no idea if I was seeing Gina or Leni on my screen at some points, but I enjoyed it either way.

Starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ringer focuses on twins Siobhan and Bridget. Bridget has been sober for six months when she turns out to be a key witness in a murder. Just before she testifies, Bridget chickens out and visits her estranged sister in New York. When Siobhan appears to have committed suicide, Bridget takes charge of her life. See how similar this is to Echoes? It’s a great family-based psychological thriller.

Netflix released Clickbait a year ago and everyone was obsessed with it. It follows Nick, a man who disappears and then a shocking video of him is posted online. The video claims that Nick abuses women and says that he will die if it goes viral. The man’s sister and his wife rush to try to find him and end up discovering a side of Nick they didn’t know existed. He has a black mirror environment.
The sinner

Right away, watching The Sinner, it’s obvious there’s something lurking and it’s not quite right. The first season begins like any other mystery thriller, a brief buildup leading to young mother Cora Tannetti stabbing a man on a beach for seemingly no reason.
With the crime already committed and shown in detail, the mystery keeps the suspense going until the very end, as we don’t know why Cora did it until the very last minute.
behind his eyes
Behind Her Eyes is a British psychological thriller created by Steve Lightfoot. It follows the story of Louise, a single mother, whose world comes crashing down when she begins an affair with her new boss, David. Things take a dark turn when she finds herself involved in an unlikely friendship with her wife, Adele. A love triangle begins and Louise finds herself caught in a web of secrets.
The stranger
The Stranger is another British drama with plot twists and turns. It is based on a novel by Harlan Coben, who is now famous because Netflix turned his stories into psychological dramas. This show follows Adam, who seems to be living a perfectly normal life. He has an impressive house where he lives with his wife and his two children. Then one night, a stranger sits next to him in a bar and tells him that his wife has been involved in a web of lies and that she should get a DNA test on her two children. The Stranger seems to know everything about everyone.

Stay Close was the psychological thriller we were all hooked on in December 2021. The series follows Megan, a mother of three, Ray, a photographer, Broome, a detective, and Lorraine, an old friend of Megan’s. The past comes back to haunt them and threatens to ruin the lives of those around them. It’s another Harlan Coben adaptation and it’s Really right.
criminal uk
Criminal UK is a British crime anthology series starring David Tennant and Kit Harrington, among other big names. The story takes place exclusively inside a police interrogation room, where London investigators engage in intense interviews and mental conflicts with suspects to find the answers to solve the cases.
Bodyguard
Bodyguard is another British crime drama about David Budd, a war veteran turned police bodyguard who is assigned to protect the Home Secretary. He gets mired in assassination plots, terrorist threats and the drama is through the roof. Like Echoes, he will blow your mind as you watch.
pretty Little Liars
Pretty Little Liars revolves around four friends who are stalked by an anonymous person who reveals their darkest secrets. They all work together to investigate the disappearance of her best friend, Allison.
The show starts off simple enough, but soon turns into something more complicated as twists and turns unfold. It has Gossip Girl vibes, but this one keeps us trying to figure out who ‘A’ is and what secrets are being kept amongst the group.
