NBA stars have been known to make appearances on the big screen from time to time. Be it movies or TV series. Michael Jordan ‘The last Dance’ was a great success, while LeBron James’ ‘Space Jam 2’ grossed millions at the box office. And it looks like Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns will be the next NBA player to star in an upcoming television series.

Towns looks ready to star as an adult ‘Scooby Doo’ called series ‘Velma’ on HBO Max. This won’t be the first time Towns has appeared on the big screen. However, Towns will act as a voice actor in the upcoming adult animated series.

Towns has also appeared on the big screen in the past. He was seen in movies like ‘What men want’ Y ‘National Champions’.

Towns has also appeared on such television shows as ‘ridiculousness’ Y ‘Celebrity Ferris Wheel’. He has also been known for being the voice behind one of the characters in the animated series. ‘Big City Greens’ on the Disney channel.
So even though this isn’t the first time Towns has played a voiceover actor for an animated series, fans were left absolutely baffled after the news broke.

Towns about to bring the same energy to the screen
Towns is undoubtedly an excellent post player. He can score, defend and rebound in the paint. And since he came into the league, he’s also worked a lot on his 3-point shooting. So much so that he ended up winning the 2022 NBA 3-point contest during the All-Star break.

Karl-Anthony Towns has played seven seasons in the NBA for the Minnesota Timberwolves so far. The three-time All-Star also won the Rookie of the Year award in 2015.
