It’s bittersweet that we won’t be seeing Campbell in every episode, and potentially without a full season storyline of her own, we’re still excited to see Maggie appear throughout the season and see what the future holds for her in the series.
What book is The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 based on?
While the 2011 movie The Lincoln Lawyer adapts the first Mickey Haller book, the Netflix series adapts the second: The brass verdict. Prior to the renewal announcement, it was unclear if the series would go in the book order for any subsequent seasons. But in that case, the investment would be next for season 2.
Variety reports that The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 will also have 10 episodes and will be based on the book the fifth witness, which is the fourth book in the series.
