This comes after Jair Courtney revealed that we’d love to star as Captain Boomerang in an HBO Max spin-off series. He revealed this during a recent interview with ComicBook.com. He currently stars in the Amazon Prime Video series, terminal list. However, he was asked about reprising his role as Captain Boomerang for an HBO Max spin-off series and this is what he had to say about it:

The TV streaming kind of scope right now is really exciting and I think exploring something like, you know, a longer format and giving it a little bit more space would be really cool. I have some ideas about it, you know, that I think would work for a character like Boomerang because he’s so much fun. I think it would be great to delve into the backstory and the nature of how he falls into the DC world, you know?

I mean, that would be great. It’s one of those roles that I would love to be able to do over and over again. It’s a lot of fun and probably a little too easy for me in a way. But I think there’s tremendous potential to enjoy something like that and we could really push the boundaries of what’s possible. So, listen, I’m just waiting for the call from Warner Brothers. I mean, if you want me to put that jacket back on. I will be more than happy to oblige.
