Sweden completes investigation into Baltic Sea pipeline leaks | AP

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Sweden’s national security agency said Thursday that its preliminary investigation into leaks from two Russian gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea “has strengthened suspicions of serious sabotage” as the cause.

The Swedish Security Service said the investigation confirmed that the “detonations” caused extensive damage to the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines last week. Authorities had said when the leaks first surfaced in Sweden and Denmark that explosions were reported in the area.
