Nearing the end of his second season with the team, Sergio Pérez spoke about the “secret sauce” that drives the success Red Bull has recently experienced in Formula 1.

Pérez has taken three wins since joining Red Bull last year, the second, third and fourth of his career. He finished fourth in the drivers’ standings in 2021 and is currently second with the best two career wins from him this year. With McLaren in 2013, he finished 11th with a fifth race finish.
Red Bull has almost secured its first constructors’ championship since 2013, and its 14 wins, including 12 by two-time world champion Max Verstappen, are a team record. The Austrian team could well be on the verge of their first 1-2 in qualifying.
With Formula 1 back in the United States for this Sunday afternoon’s United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas, Pérez relishes the opportunity to promote ExxonMobil.
