Collision Course Plot/Synopsis

The official synopsis for the film reads: “A law enforcement officer tries to make ends meet by soliciting bribes. But a tense encounter with a wealthy young musician changes his life forever.”

It is a moving story told in 24 hours about the life of a law enforcement officer and an aspiring musician. Explore the seedy underbelly of rogue law enforcement officers and the painful and heinous results of their actions as they collide head-on with the struggling musician and conflicted member of the police force.

Inspired by the October 2020 anti-police brutality protests in Lagos, Abuja and many other cities in southern Nigeria, the film is a reminder of how many young Nigerians took to the streets to demand an end to what they called endemic police brutality. The film shows a police officer setting up a roadblock to extract money from drivers, only to come across the frustrated young artist with a pregnant wife.
