Purdue hosts hybrid summit on technology and US foreign interests

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. − The US Global Leadership Coalition’s Heartland Summit 2022, held earlier this week, showcased the intersectionality between Purdue, advancing technology, and US foreign interest policies.

Heartland Summit was a hybrid event that took place simultaneously in Minnetonka, MN; West Lafayette, IN; and Wichita, KS. Community, government and educational leaders spoke at their respective events.

Glick was joined by Kimberly Reed, former directors and president of the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank of the US, and John Ellenberger, CEO of the Land O’Lakes Venture37 to discuss the future of technology and the foreign policy interests of the United States. USA

Panelists from West Lafayette were introduced to the stage by Purdue President-elect Mung Chiang. Glick began the panel by discussing how technology, especially Purdue-based technology, can be used in food safety around the world.
