Netflix’s Christmas movie lineup is led by sequels to Enola Holmes and Knives Out

It’s almost September, which means the holidays are creeping up on us, and for Netflix, that means a lot of movies. The streamer just released its schedule of holiday movie releases in 2022, and it’s headlined by a couple of big sequels in Enola Holmes 2 on November 4 and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery December 23th.

Elsewhere, the streamer has some notable animated features, such as Guillermo del Toro’s version of pinocchio (December 9), Henry Selick and Jordan Peele’s wendell and wild (October 28), drifting house (September 16) by Studio Colores, and my father’s dragon (November) from the studio behind song of the sea Y wolf walkers. Other titles to watch out for include Noah Baumbach’s post-apocalyptic. White noise (December 30) and a musical adaptation of Matilda (December 25), which is part of a large economic bet by Netflix for the Roald Dahl catalog.

There are, of course, a handful of movies to watch during royal vacations. For Halloween, we have the likes of The curse of Bridge Hollow (October 14), where decorations come to life to wreak havoc, and Mr. Harrigan’s Phone (October 5), an adaptation of a particularly creepy short story by Stephen King. And the industrial complex of Christmas romantic comedies continues to advance with movies like christmas with you (November 17), falling in love with christmas (November 10), and noel’s diary (November 24).
