Naomi Biden opted for a timeless bridal look—and traditional American branding—for her White House wedding to Peter Neal.
The bride wore a custom Ralph Lauren Collection gown made with Chantilly lace. The design features hand-placed organza petals along the bodice and cascades down the skirt. She styled the gown with a cathedral veil made of silk organza with a custom Chantilly lace trim and embroidered details.
Turning to Ralph Lauren has great significance for the First Family. For his 2021 inauguration ceremony, President Biden wore the iconic American hashtag from head to toe. His coat, tie, suit, and matching mask were all by Ralph Lauren.
Naomi, 28, a Columbia law graduate and daughter of Hunter Biden and his ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle, joined her sisters Finnegan, 22, and Maisy, 21, for the special day. Finnegan was seen standing next to Naomi after she and Peter said “I do.”

Neal, 25, who also studied law, previously interned for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and at the White House under President Barack Obama.
“Forever ?,” he captioned the photo when Neal shared the same image on his own Instagram page without a caption.
Naomi announced the couple’s engagement in September 2021 on Instagram with a selfie of the couple posing in the sunshine. She raised her hand in the shot to show off her beautiful engagement ring.

The White House told PEOPLE in April that Neal proposed to her near his childhood home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with a ring that included the band from his grandmother’s engagement ring. Members of his families were there to surprise them after the proposal.
In July, Naomi took to Twitter to reveal that her wedding would take place on the South Lawn of the White House.
“So I’m not sure what’s the best way to update, but we were supposed to do it weeks ago… but we’ve finally figured out where the ceremony will be… and to the relief of the secret service and with the backing of the dogs … we will get married”. on the South Lawn! I couldn’t be more excited,” she wrote.

Their nuptials marked the first wedding on the White House grounds since 2013, when presidential photographer Pete Souza married Patti Lease in the Rose Garden. It’s also historic: The couple’s ceremony marks the first White House wedding for a grandson of a sitting president.
In an interview with PBS News Hour In 2020, Naomi detailed how the president, whom she and her siblings affectionately call “Pop,” is always there for his seven grandchildren.

“He’s going to pick up our calls no matter where he is. He’s going to be on stage, giving a speech, and we’d call him up and say, ‘What’s up?’ “

President Biden recently spoke about that special bond on an episode of the SmartLess podcast, revealing her “best recreation” since taking office is finding time to talk to her granddaughters.
“They’re crazy about me and I’m crazy about them. Every day I check in with every single one of my grandkids,” Biden, who turns 80 this weekend, shared with hosts Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes.
