“Dimple is a brilliant tech coder, and Rishi is a hopeless romantic. However, life has thrown them some curve balls, and Dimple is under all kinds of pressure, while Rishi has lost his romantic perspective. The odd couple now faces all kinds of problems, including new romantic interests, strained friendships, and rivalries that will do anything to derail their future plans.”

Season 2 of this show looks set to flesh out the leads further and throw some new dilemmas their way. If you were a fan of the first season, it is a given that you will enjoy the next set of episodes. There’s always been a long list of “will they, won’t they” TV shows, and the premise of season two seems set to keep viewers engaged with our leads, even if it looks like it’s going to play it safe for now. The mismatched second season is probably better if you’re a fan of the first season and invested in the characters and their lives. Usually these types of shows live and die by the characters and their appeal, so the writing and situations will ultimately decide whether or not a third season is commissioned. If the team can get the right mix of comedy, romance, and drama, then it may win some new fans; if the writing fails, season two may be the last we see of Dimple and Rishi.
