LOT Polish Airlines has announced that it has signed an interline agreement with the American airline JetBlue. This will provide LOT passengers with convenient access to JetBlue’s extensive network. Passengers traveling from Poland can now book a flight to any of JetBlue’s destinations through the LOT website, allowing them to have all connecting flights on one ticket despite the transition between airlines.

Additional destinations

LOT has been flying to the US for decades, serving some of its largest cities. It currently operates 35 flights a week to the US, all of which are flown from the company’s global hub at Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) in its prized Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The US cities served are Chicago, Miami, New York and Los Angeles. Through the JetBlue network, passengers will have access to dozens of additional cities in the US.

Of all the destinations JetBlue offers, LOT expects its passengers to primarily take advantage of flights to Las Vegas, Boston, Orlando, San Francisco and Seattle. JetBlue also offers flights to the Caribbean, of which LOT anticipates flights to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico to be fan favorites.

LOT previously operated flights to the US from its hub in Budapest, Hungary. However, it has not operated any of these flights since the pandemic began.
