If you somehow haven’t noticed, Kevin Hart has been shining bright on Netflix lately with all sorts of originals he’s starred in and produced. In early 2021, the the comedian signed an important agreement with the streaming service, and it’s been common to see his projects trending on Netflix ever since. Like his last big hit, Personal time, still the number 1 trending movieHart is showing a lot of love for the broadcast studio.
in a post on InstagramKevin Hart presented an image of five of his Netflix originals that came out between 2017 and last week: The positive, Paternity, True story, the man from toronto Y Personal time. Here was the message from him:
major thanks to [Netflix] for your support and love on all of these projects… I also want to thank all of my producing and writing partners on all of these projects… this is about progress… at Hartbeat we want to give the world some amazing feel-good/related material . I am very proud of my team of executives and creatives at Hartbeat.
Apart from The positivethe other projects mentioned above premiered directly on Netflix between early 2021 and Personal timerecent release of . It’s a huge accomplishment for Hart to have worked on all of these movies both behind the scenes as a lead actor, and he gave Netflix a huge credit for their support of him. He also said this:
I swear we’re just getting started. We have more heat on the way soon!!!!! Let’s go fucking gooooooo… I want more so I plan on doing more… wait until you see the change in these next two movies. You guys won’t know what the hell hit you…stay tuned.
As Kevin Hart shared, there are plenty more movies for fans of the comedian. He teased that the next two in particular have a “change” that fans won’t expect. Now Hart is working on a ton of projects, so we’re not entirely sure which one he’s talking about exactly, but we can certainly guess. his work with fate of the furious director in Get up may be one of them considering he supposedly finished filming after Hart posted photos while on production in Italy..
Although Personal timeThe trending status since its release nearly two weeks ago, the movie got rave reviewscollectively have a 7% on Rotten Tomatoes on the side of critics and 31% of the public. those numbers do Personal time Kevin Hart’s worst critically received film to date, not worth celebrating on its own. Perhaps Hart is trying to offset the negativity of Personal time and look at the big picture and the near future.
However, Kevin Hart won’t just be working with Netflix for the foreseeable future. He shot the film adaptation of the video game. borderlands, but that Lionsgate movie doesn’t have a release date yet. He will also be in a movie called back on the strip with Tiffany Haddish and Wesley Snipes, in November. Hart’s future is clearly bright, but while she waits, there is a selection of her films available to stream with a netflix subscription.
