AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 6, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Leaves will soon be falling, temperatures will drop and cheers will rise as haunted house season and Halloween approach. Each year, the Haunted Attractions Association (HAA), the only official association in the haunting industry, names the “Top Haunted Attractions” across the country. To be designated, attractions must be recognized as HAA members while meeting a list of 10 criteria related to HAA’s mission: to protect patrons, promote haunted attractions and educate industry experts.
“The most important aspect of our job is to put visitor safety first,” said HAA President Spencer Terry. “The Top Haunts certification honors those attractions that have been in operation for at least 10 years and are not only a leader in offering some of the best attractions in the business, but also in setting the bar high for best practices in safety.” “.
