Netflix released all episodes of the second season on September 16. And when the students return, they find themselves under Rosalind’s strict rule.
At the end of the first season, Rosalind is released from stasis because Farah, the director, knew she was in trouble. Rosalind apparently killed Farah when he was fighting her in the explosive ending and was proceeding to assume leadership of Alfea. The new Rosalind has a different look, although she was initially recognized by her blonde ponytail and sharp features.
Although Lesly Sharp appeared only at the end of the first outing, Miranda Richardson replaced her with a short haircut.

Fate The Winx Saga Season 2 was filmed from July to November 21, but it was only on July 22 that the casting was announced.
Why ex-Rosalind star Lesley couldn’t continue in Fate The Winx Saga Season 2:
The actress was unable to continue because she was involved in other projects at the time of filming.
She narrated Heaven Made, a BBC One documentary series featuring a behind-the-scenes look at three religious orders in Ireland and England. She was also busy on stage with the lead role in Kae Tempest’s Philoctetes in 2021.
So, with a lot of work ahead of it, it may have been difficult to juggle both projects.
Also, Lesley would have to put in a lot of time as Rosalind has a very prominent role in Fate: The Winx Saga season 2.
Netflix also confirmed that due to Lesley’s compromised schedule, she would not be able to return for season 2 as the filming dates would not go well for her.
Miranda as Rosalind in Season 2:
Miranda, 64, is also known for her roles as Rita Skeeter in the Harry Potter films Orlando and Damage.
Since her role on the Good Omens series as Madame Tracy, Fate of Winx Saga is her last television role.
Miranda is recording for a role in her next movie, The Magician’s Elephant. She also worked on The House as the voice of Aunt Clarice.
In addition to the Rosalind character, Terra’s father, Ben Harvey, has also been recast for Fate: The Winx Saga season 2.
