DragChamp Top 10 List
1 – Nick Hastings

After a fairly quiet first half of the racing season, Nasty Nick Hastings was back in the spotlight at the BTE 250K this past weekend. Nick made it to the $100,000 payday in Saturday night’s main event. He continued to run on Sunday where they doubled us up by six cars and raced himself. He finished the day with a runner-up finish in the $10K. Adding to his success over the weekend, Nick started the weekend with a semi-final finish in the Thursday Gamblers race.
2 – Will Holloman

Will Holloman was back in the spotlight this week after cashing in $40K at the $40 Grand Nationals in Norwalk. Holloman, a member of DragChamp Pro, outlasted a large field of over 400 cars to claim the prestigious event victory.
3-Gage Burch

Gage Burch appeared in Bristol last week. The talented racer from Florida won the Thursday Gamblers race after being lapped in four cars. He defeated Nick Hastings in the semifinals in one inning and lost to Lucas Walker in the other. In the $5K final, Burch eliminated Walker for the win. The following night, Gage also participated in the $10K semi-finals.
4 – Bryce himself

King of the I-30 Dragway Bryce Self scored another victory at the North Dallas facility on Saturday night. Self drove her 4.3x dragster to a $20,000 win over Tova Marshall at the CP Racing Promotions Labor Day Racer Appreciation event. Bryce pretty much owns this track, as he’s constantly in the winner’s circle. His payday on Saturday night was by far his biggest victory on I-30.
4 – Pennington Peeps

The Peep Show raked in $20 grand on Sunday night at I-30 Dragway. Peeps stopped Koy Collier, who was doubled in six cars, in the final round to add another big race win to his already impressive collection.
5 – Chad Bacon

Chad Bacon holds a spot in the top five this week after running himself in a $5K final at Onawa Dragway. Bacon took the win and runner-up spot in the Labor Day $5K payday.

6 – Phil Harvey

Phil Harvey had a great weekend in the Bracket Super Tour at the Luskville Dragway in Canada. Harvey doubled down by winning a $5K and a $5K 32-Car Shootout on the same day!
7 – Todd McKinney

The most emotional win of the weekend had to go to Todd McKinney. After losing his son in a tragic accident earlier this season, Todd made the final rounds at Bristol on back-to-back weekends. After placing second the previous weekend in the DER support series, McKinney raced into Friday’s $10K final at the BTE Labor Day 250K. There he stopped Scooter Hamlin for his first race victory since the death of his son. There was not a dry eye on the property in Bristol after his emotional win and subsequent interview.
8Terry Holloway

Terry Holloway doubled down in the bike class at the NHRA Division 6 bracket finals. Holloway won the Race of Champions Main Event and Bracket Final to earn the #8 spot this week.
9 – J. P. Schuster

JP Schuster has enjoyed a successful summer. After a runner-up finish in the Derby City $100K last month and a win in the $7,500 race a few weeks ago, Schuster raced to a $15K victory in the $40 Grand Nationals on Friday night.
10 – cooper chun

DragChamp Pro member Cooper Chun has been crying lately. He made multiple appearances in the Top 10 after consistently winning multiple times a week for the past few months. Cooper won the NHRA D6 finals last weekend and will now have a chance to compete for the national championship next month in Las Vegas. Plus, he clinched two track championships!
