College Football Week 6 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Army vs. Wake Forest
It’s been a rough start to the year for the West Point cadets. Losses against all three FBS opponents have highlighted shortcomings on defense, but the triple option on offense has still been effective. In this aspect, Wake Forest presents an interesting duel.
Very few teams in the country will be able to stop the Demon Deacons offense. Wake Forest is ranked #12 in the SP+ offensive ratings. For Army to make a game out of this, they will need to be able to match them up, unit by unit, which they are capable of. They showed it in last year’s game when Army scored 56 points in this Wake Forest defense, though they gave up 70 themselves. Army will once again be able to move the ball in this 89th-ranked SP+ defense. 5, Wake Forest allowed Florida State to rack up big chunks of yardage, but the Seminoles ultimately shot themselves in the foot with penalties, turnovers and missed field goals.
The military can negate the dominance of the Wake Forest offense with methodical pushes. The offenses should be able to keep up with each other, so if Army can make some stops, they’ll give themselves a chance at one of the biggest upsets of the year.

Over/Under is a bet based on the number of points you think will be scored in a specific game. Punters set the total and punters decide whether the final score will be over or under that number. If an Over/Under of 44.5 points is set and you bet Over, you will need the combined score of both teams to be 45 points or more to win your bet.
What is a moneyline bet?
A money line bet involves choosing which team you think will win a specific matchup. The money line favorite carries a negative designation, such as -130. This means that you have to bet $130 to get a profit of $100. In contrast, the underdog carries a positive designation, such as +110. This means that you earn $110 in winnings on a $100 bet.
