Beer Garden Expansion Highlights Soccer Promotions

SIOUX FALLS, SD – An expansion of JJ’s Beer Garden for Augustana football games at Kirkeby-Over Stadium highlights the game day experience for the 100the Augustana Football Season, presented by CorTrust Bank.

Following a successful 2021 season with the beer garden at KO Stadium, the game day experience will allow safe consumption of alcohol throughout much of Kirkeby-Over Stadium. A single point of sale will remain in the beer garden, located in the southeast corner of the stadium, where fans will be able to take their drink to their seats.

Alcohol-free zones will exist throughout the stadium, particularly sections 107, 108, 109, the northwest grass berm, and section 202 on the visitor’s side. You can find a map of alcohol-free zones here.

Admission to JJ’s Beer Garden will remain the same as last season, while JJ’s Wine, Spirits and Cigars will continue to manage the beer garden, including using its professionally trained staff to identify and wristband those over 21 . The service area will close at the end of the third quarter.

More information on Augustana’s alcohol policy can be found here.

The match day experience will continue to be second to none at Kirkeby-Over Stadium, starting with entering the stadium with the world’s first digital ticketing system. Fans who purchase pregame tickets at GoAugie.com/Tickets will receive their tickets digitally. From there, fans have the opportunity to present their tickets on their smartphones or print their tickets at home. Single game tickets purchased at the ticket window may have your tickets printed, texted or emailed at the time of purchase.

The GoAugie mobile app, brought to you by CellOnly, provides the easiest and most convenient way for fans to purchase tickets. The app also offers quick access to event schedules, rosters and team information, customizable push notifications, live and archived video, and more.
