Munich-based maker of luxury electric vehicles Automobili Pininfarina has delivered Battista’s first two pure-electric Hyper GT cars to customers in North America.
Each Battista hyper GT is a “meticulously handcrafted” bespoke hypercar boasting over 1,874 horsepower and 2,340 Nm of torque with a top speed of 350 km/h.
Capable of accelerating from zero to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds, faster than a current Formula 1 car, the Battista offers 500 kilometers of autonomy on a single charge thanks to its 120 kWh battery.
Four electric motors, one at each wheel, are hidden under a carbon fiber body. In all, according to Automobili Pininfarina, after production began in July, it took 10 craftsmen more than 1,250 hours to build the first US custom Battista.
Meanwhile, the second of the two Battistas delivered to North America was the Battista Anniversario. The first of five sold to American customers, the Battista Anniversario made its world premiere at Monterey Car Week in 2021.

Reflecting the unique technical details of the car, the interior and exterior of the first Battista to go on sale are equally luxurious.
The client specified the exterior paint to be brushed aluminum painted in a custom vibrant red. Matching red brake calipers and center lock rings contrast with Gloss Black painted Impulso wheel rims.
The interior upholstery, meanwhile, is finished in chrome-free leather that has been sustainably tanned by a local Italian supplier, using leaves harvested from regional olive trees.
The GT’s seats match the exterior paint in luxury red leather with black contrast stitching, a theme used throughout the car’s interior.

Presumably, the specific details of the exterior and interior of the Battista Anniversario were set in stone at launch, as no details are provided separately by Automobili Pininfarina.
“The team and I are very proud of the expansion of Automobili Pininfarina in the US and the delivery of the first Battista automobiles in the United States,” said Per Svantesson, CEO of Automobili Pininfarina.
“This symbolizes our creation of a new luxury electric car segment both in the US and globally. With a passionate collector welcoming the first Battista in North America, we see great confidence in this masterpiece of design and technology in this influential community.”
“North America is a very special region for Automobili Pininfarina. The community’s appetite for unparalleled design and demand for innovative luxury electric cars means that the majority of the 150 custom-built Battistas we build in Italy will be owned by American customers.”
