5 new Netflix releases that will dominate the Internet next week

First on our list this week is get revengecoming on september 16. This is director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson’s second film, and Netflix describes it as a “subverted Hitchcockian dark comedy featuring the scariest leads of them all: teenage girls.”

Camila Mendes stars as Drea, the hot girl on campus whose social status is ruined when her sex tape is leaked to the entire school. Apparently, by her boyfriend and “king of the school”, Max. Maya Hawke, meanwhile, plays Eleanor: she’s an awkward new transfer student, dismayed to learn that she now attends the same school as an old bully.

Carissa started a nasty rumor about Eleanor when they were kids at summer camp together. And so, Drea and Eleanor come together to form a secret friendship, with both pursuing each other’s tormentors for, as the title suggests, “revenge.”

Destiny: The Winx Saga Season 2 and more Netflix premieres

Moving on, we also have a new season of Destiny: The Winx Saga joining the stack of Netflix releases for the week, in 16 of September. If you haven’t seen the show yet or need to catch up, here’s what you need to know.

This series comes from creator Brian Young and follows the coming-of-age journey of six fairies. They attend Alfea, a magical boarding school in the so-called Otherworld. There, they learn to master and hone their powers, all the while dealing with love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence.

In season 2, according to Netflix: “School is back in session under the militant authority of former Alfea headmistress Rosalind. With the Burned Ones gone, Dowling ‘missing’ and Silva jailed for treason, last year’s Alfea has grown with new magic, new romances and new faces.”

Meanwhile, the fairies begin to disappear, while Bloom and her suite mates discover a dangerous threat they must figure out how to stop, before it wreaks havoc throughout the Otherworld.

Sins of our Mother: This 3-episode Netflix limited series introduces us to a woman named Lori Vallow. She was known to family and friends as a wife, devoted mother of three children, and deeply religious. So how does a normal woman who seems to have it all end up in jail for conspiracy to commit murder as well as first degree murder? Specifically, her fourth husband, her fifth husband’s wife, and her two minor children? Release date: September 14.

In the dark: Also among next week’s new Netflix releases, season 4 of In the dark Tuesday arrives. The official description of the show: “After going blind as a teenager, Murphy Mason stopped caring about the world.
