11 new movies and series to watch in Canada this September

From the sequel to the nearly 30-year-old “Hocus Pocus” to Netflix’s Marilyn Monroe biopic, September is packed with new titles to stream.

As September rolls around, streaming services are gearing up for fall with a full slate of movies and TV shows to love.

Netflix premieres the highly anticipated movie “Blonde” starring Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe, while Amazon Prime Video launches its highly anticipated sci-fi series “The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power.”

Disney+ will launch two big releases on Disney+ Day on September 8: “Pinocchio” starring Tom Hanks, along with the Marvel hit “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
