I can not afford a new paint job at the moment and the current one on my Z has seen better days.

I've got scratches here and there, swirls in the paint and the clear is fading on the hood and such.
While this doesnt bother me as a whole, is there anything on the market that can help?

I just washed and waxed the car and barely saw any difference other than it's clean.
I literally put three coats of NuFinish on the hood and just see no difference.

I dont have time to take it anywhere other than local, so that isnt an option.

I dont mind doing it myself, I just have no idea what to use to get results.

The easy way is to pay somebody with experience to wash/claybar/machine polish/hand wax. Or the tougher way is to buy all the gear and do it yourself. You'd be amazed at the results a professional could get, but you can't work magic on paint that's past the point of saving either.

We thats a bit more involved than anything I've done before... I mean I've done clay, polish, power buffer and such, but nothing like all that.

Guess Ill see if there is a guy around here that can do it...
