LSX in a 350Z

I just thought this was cool. I met the Hinson guys this weekend in their LS swapped RX7's. I just made the joke and ask when they wanted to put a LS in my Z then they informed me they actually made a kit. These guys are awesome. Maybe one day.

Many reasons. You could have more powerful NA LSX motor than a stock internal twin turbo Z for less money after you sold your stock engine. Not to mention I know way more about Chevy engines than Nissan. Mainly because how many 350Z's do you see with an LSX in it. If you really wanted to get stupid do a turbo LSX.

If you wanted to go really stupied, and smart, go with a vg engine in a 350z and make 700 rwhp all day. On stock internals. Thats a waste to spend 30k, or 40k on that crap.

I dont think you'd end up with 30 or 40K in a Z to do a LSX. you can pick up a LS1 motor and T56 trans. pull out for around 3000 to 3500 and a LS2 for around 6000 to 6500. I think and install kit is 1800, headers 1500, and around 1000 for the electronics. I know you'd prolly end up with some exta cash in there for some odd ball stuff but not 30k, atleast I don't think.

I was thinking about doing the swap and called up to hinson supercars and asked if i had the engine and trans what would the price be and they said it would be 9k for turnkey LS swap into the 350
