The kids in my neighborhood are a trip. This one kid just got his new car (hatchback integra with a fart can)within the last month. Two nights ago he took a turn onto my street and hit my neighbor's mailbox. :D Then today I saw him and his idiot buddies coming home. They were checking my out 300zx. :cool: When the light turned green he took off like I'm going to wast my car in heavy traffic and rain. Can't wait till they move out of mommy's house. You would think that thet would be at work or at home they way they drive up and down the street all the time gas ain't that cheap.:driving:
To all you younger guys out their you know your getting old when you look at
someone and think their some punk kids. Cause it wasn't that long ago that I was one, Or still am to some old fart.

Once again...honda FTL...even though i own one.

i hate having one b/c kids like this give them a worse name than they actually are.

there already cheap and slow...they dont need worse reps than that. the least they could do is make em fast and nice...not annoying and ugly

I dont see any crushing being had with a stock G35 or 350. The Si is about the same, they run close to low 14s in the quarter just like the 350.

i wanna c that ive run one si idk wat year it was but it wasa joke honda claims a 15.1 1/4 but real times show a 15.4 and stock G's run a 14.1 idk about 350zs but im assumming they are just as fast if not faster than a G since they are lighter

Im basing this disscusion on the 06 Si. Your saying that the Si runs 15.1 in the quarter which is what the basic reviews say. But from experience I have seen both the g35, and Si run, plus a couple 350s. Most Si run around 14.3 (there is one person on this board from my knowledge that posted a video doing a 13.9 with a black Si) that I have seen at the track, with most g35s and 350s doing it in 14.1. Now compare the trap speeds, the G35 has a 101 with the Si having around a 110. I have raced (in my Mx3) against both the Si and G35, from what I have seen they are close, as far as lengths behind me.

Like I said before there is no crushing victory, just a slight edge. Like most of the G35/350 owners say, nissian should of made them with force induction.

Most stock z's i've seen run from 13.7-14.3's(depending on autos or manuals)

I for one have never even had a new si even come close to keeping up with my z.

The integra itr with pretty much the same amount of power and better gearing barely got 14.6-14.9's stock with great drivers. I don't see a civic with longer gears doing that stock. Just my opinion though.

i was really starting to wonder if they were as fast as a G i was bout to have a G 4 sale but wat kind of spacer were u runnin? and plenum? do you have test pipes or hf cats?

The member on this board that posted about driving the 06 Si has run a 14.15 @ 99.56 mph. His only mod is an Injen CAI and his fastest trap in that car is 100.05. I have personally witnessed this run. Sorry Charlie, don't know where you are getting these guys trapping 110 in a new Si. T-Rag's car is what we (himself included) refers to as a "factory freak" because he posted his times up on Honda-Tech in the 06+ Si forum and nobody believed that a basically stock Si was running low 14s. He has one of the FASTEST drag times for a basically stock 06 Si out there. As far as 350z/G35s go, I can't personally respond to the G35 part, but I will tell you for a fact that my white 350z BONE STOCK ran 13.9, w/ Popcharger intake filter ran 13.8, and with the addition of headers and test pipes ran 13.6 (all trapping around 102-104mph). I know for a fact Ray has broke 13s STOCK as well. It's hard to say exactly what the normal drag times for a certain car will or should be as the conditions and drivers make a world of difference, but I feel confident in stating that the fastest times (or w/ intake) of a 350z is close to a second faster than the fastest times of an 06 Si.

One of my friends from ga ran a 13.6@102 stock in his 04 Z(base).

The 07+ have gotten down to 13.1's stock for a few drivers. Best trap for a bone stock 07+ has been 108.

when i take MY slow car down the strip for the first time i expect high 14s with exhaust, popcharger, and yet-to-be-installed pulleys and cooling upgrades as well as up-to-date maintenance (exhaust, intake, and pulleys would be the only ones making the real difference, but the other will ensure that it'll be running well).
