So I went to a local car meet back at home, after walking around and talking for a bit, my group went inside for some food and drink. We came back outside to this...


Apparently, the kid was doing the "rent to own" thing for his wheels/tires and hadn't kept up with his payments. It was just a sad sight to see and ended drawing a nice size crowd.

I personally was inside for like 30-40 minutes max. I imagine it didn't take long to do. Supposedly 2 trucks pulled up blocking in the car, got out the jacks and went to town. Maybe SOUTHGACHICK might have some more info since he had some Florida 350z club decals on his car.

Hey Paul, I didn't go Thursday night but that's David. I haven't seen him in a while though. He's had a bad streak of luck... laid off, has a baby on the way and apparently has had a hard time paying the bills. He used to work for Rent N Roll is the bad thing, so apparently they knew where to find him Thursday night and decided to make an example. He's a supernice guy, I feel for him. I think our pres gave him her stockers to roll on since he had gotten rid of his.

There were a couple of people who were saying that he could borrow their stockers to get home or use for a few days but he had already left in someones black Nismo Z. I will be headed back down in the beginning of August if you guys are doing anything down there.

There are a few wheel rental places in FL. Mostly its ghetto donk type stuff though. It just doesn't make any sense to rent them. By time you have "paid" the tires off you would most likely have been half way through your second set of tires while paying a total price that would have gotten you 5 sets of tires.

Yeah he rode home w/ Junior in the Nismo. Those rental places are hideous... they completly rape those people all for the sake of someone having to have some and there are HUGE quotes here... "nice wheels" although RNR does carry nice wheels... Maya, RH, Giovanni... whatever but it comes with a huge price.
