Finalized Details.

B'ham guys - meeting up at about 5:15am at Arby's on 280 and leaving promptly at 5:30am.

I will be at Z nats for sure. It's a very good show and the guys at Z1 are great.

PS - FYI, Z1 isn't in ATL, it's in Carrollton.

Hahaha. To me, anything within like a 50 mile radius is "Atlanta". But anyways, we are gonna try to make it out.

I would have considered entering my car into the show just for the hell of it if my bumper wasn't messed up :(

Just enter...I think I'm going to, as stock :) Nismo parts don't count as mods since they can be dealership options, do they?

The R34 wasn't a real GTR tho. The R32 that was there was much more impressive IMO

It's just a bunch of hanging out. I didn't register for the show last year and they gave out name tags to everybody. It's a much bigger place than I expected.

I went ahead and registered as stock for the car show. I figure all my mods (except Varis) are dealer installed options, same as the new Nismo Z, right??

If they move me, they move me...worth a shot :cool:

Holy hell I missed this. The red TT Z32 and the Black NA Z32 are both mine. HAHA :D

Also, Who all is going to be meeting in AU ?? What time ? Where? I'm going to try and just cruise up that way and then meet you guys there. I might just come up friday night and chill with some buddies depending on if anyone from my home town is going.

im 98% sure im going but unfortunatly my Z is not going to be done in time(not even close. So instead im driving my excursion. Im in birmingham but im north of 280 in trussville. i will have extra room if any one buys anything large at Z1 and i need to bring it home, and it will fit in the X i will be glad to carry it back. let me know and i may try to meet up that morning as a support vehicle for the caravan.

see plenty of room....

Due to work, I'll only be able to make it for the track day. Anyone leaving from Birmingham or passing through early Friday AM?

I might have to check into the JSPEC facia deal I'd like to have one, but I'd really like to be needing TWO. Got to get up with Brad this week!!

Also, we need to see if Russell would possibly be willing to move the track day to BMS next year. I'm sure the number of participants would increase, the track can support more cars than TGP, so possibly the event cost would be within reason.

Nowhere did I say I didn't want to drive in the dark, I said I didn't want to be too late driving back. Plus I drove to ZDayZ in the dark with everyone so you know that was a stupid question to ask :D Don't you remember this?

Navigation says Z1 is 147 miles from Tuscaloosa, so from Birmingham it should be about 90-100 miles, for about an hour and a half drive...not too bad.

I'm driving up to Auburn friday night because I don't want to drive 3.5-4 hours sat morning. :D Just wake blacktwin up and hope in the car and cruise over to AU. The more the better is what I think.

I'm going on Saturday... it looks like some will be leaving from Birmingham, probably meeting up with more in Gadsden, and another group from Auburn.

I think it will be easier for me to meet in Gadsden than it would be to add time by going to Bham.

David, about what time do you think the Bham group will be heading past Anniston/Oxford?

If we leave B'ham at 5:30 (6:30 EST) and it takes two hours max to get there, so 7:30 (8:30 EST) will we have time to get the cars cleaned up and cruise over to Z1 before everything starts?

Edit: Nevermind, I see the gates to the car show open at 10:00 EST so we'll be fine.

It's about an hour or 60 miles however you want to look at it. That's why it would be quicker for me to meet up with you guys somewhere on I20.

These threads could be merged to minimize confusion.

6:30 would give us plenty of time to arrive and meet up and get on the road.

Should be me, Lee, Andrea, and Pam meeting up with you. That's all tentative I guess. I just don't want to drive an extra 2 hours that early in the morning...

We hope you can join us for this 4th annual 3 day gathering of Nissan
enthusiasts.

Don't miss this event! Of course there will be an exciting track day
on Friday, car show & dyno competition on Saturday, and a day at the
drag strip with NOPI on Sunday. This year our sponsors are giving
away over $10,000 in prizes, awards, and even a free lunch for the
first 500 people at the show on Saturday. There will be a list items
on sale through Z1 Motorsports at deep discounts only available to
show attendees. Nissan will bringing a 2009 GTR in for an appearance.
Z Nationals feature models will be signing free posters. Several
magazines will be on hand and including a feature in upcoming issues.
There will be filming going on for the 2008 Z Nationals DVD. We will
have a Forza 2 (Xbox) tournament with prizes for the winners.
Saturday evening everyone is invited to a dinner and awards ceremony
with a live band afterwards.
