Adriana has been running weird for the past few months. Feels like no power at less than 2000/2500rpms and at WOT the power seems to surge in and out. Been pretty busy lately so haven't had the time to tackle the problem until now. Replacing the spark plugs was my first choice. Didn't seem to help. Hooked her up to a code reader - P0327. Looked it up online and read about the knock sensor below the lower plenum failing. Others seem to have experienced the same issues with the power surges or lack of power - all throwing the P0327 code. The fix - replace the knock sensor as well as the small ~1' connector harness. Per recommendation on the Z forum - ordered both of these parts from George at everythingnissan.com. Total was around $235 shipped.

Going to throw these guys on in a few and see if this corrects the problem. The small harness with the light blue/dark blue connectors is the one I needed, but it only comes bundled with the injector harness as well. Since I paid for it, might as well go ahead and replace both.

Gallons of sweat and a little blood later.. she runs like a champ again!! Disconnecting the light blue part of the harness was the hardest part. It was behind the motor almost on the bell housing of the transmission. Had to wedge a screw driver in there to push the button down in order to slide it off the metal piece holding it in place. Glad everything is back to normal though (for now at least).
