Does anybody know of a place in or around the birmingham/tuscaloosa area that does custom decal lettering? Not the vinyl stickers, but the actual 3D chrome domed lettering. I wanna "re-badge" my infiniti with a different font. Maybe script (i'm a girl :) or maybe some kind of block lettering). Any ideas or places to check out please let me know!

Not that I know of...but maybe someone else will! Welcome to Bamagz, you should make an introduction thread and post up some pictures/details about your car :)

i highly doubt you find anyone that could mold plastic and make it look chromy. its a fairly expensive process ie why the factory ones cost so much in the first place.
and yes please post a intro thread. we would love to to hear about your car.

I can't think of anywhere off the top of my head. Your best bet, unfortunately, may be to stick with the vinyl-type letters...

Now that I think about it, I have a buddy that's into printing stuff. I know they do banners, posters, cardboard cutouts, etc...he may know of someone that can make letters like you want. I'll shoot him a Facebook message.

Ahh... Alex (Nitrouz)'s old Z. He's from the west coast somewhere. Of course all the good shit is in Cali. I knew he sold the Z for a red GT-R, but I believe Adrian told me last night that he got bored with the GT-R and traded it for a 370z.
As far as lettering suggestions.. I have to know what you want to say before I start looking for resources. Your last name in old english font, for example, would be unacceptable

I know plenty of vinyl cutters...but none that do what you want.
Good luck, and welcome.

Yea i need to dig up that quote, but he said something along the lines of The modded GTR was the most boring driving experience of his life. So now hes doing a similar build to the 420ZTT on a 3.7L platform :D

Here it is
^I rather have your car than the GTR. GTR ownership were the boringest 2 1/2 years of my motoring life. That's why I sold it and now I'm back in a 370z.
because it has so much traction, it loses the "fun" when I wanted to just dick around on the street. Powerslides and rear-tire burnin u-turns and clutch dumps were impossible on the street where I spend 95% of my driving. When on the track where I can push the car past 150mph consistently, yes it's fun. But I don't get to do that on the street too often. It's so freakin boring on the street. And mine was tuned to over 550awhp. Straight line speed and launch control can only be fun for so long.
