Powdercoating brakes sucks. When i bought my stoptech brakes they were yellow and i stripping them to get ready for powdercoat. They were the first thing i ever powdercoated and didnt like it the first time so stripped them again and lets just say i know why people charge a lot to powdercoat calipers.

alright now assholes, listen up. The original plan was the have the swap completed and be running 600rwhp+ for ZdayZ and the airstrip event. Well things changed, i ended up having to test out a clutch instead of pulling the engine the first week i planned (job requirement :( ) and the next weekend i had to work but couldn't arrange transportation home if i took my car apart. So finally the weekend came i was able to pull it apart and still hopeful of getting it back in the car. Well we receieved some wrong parts 3TIMES!!!!!!!! and some of the custom shit im doing required some modification and parts that could not be done in time... trust me i tried, working on customer cars all day and then my own shit until 3-4am after a full work week.

So i don't want to hear shit from anyone, i wasn't taking my G up there unless i could compete on the airstrip, and with the surging it would not be competitive.

I don't trust the Benz that much, commuting within an hour of friends/family is one thing but road trip is another story. Ill take the H1 if Bamagz covers the fuel cost, so whos down for that? :D I would ride up with someone but i have a class (i have to attend) until 5:15pm CST Friday. So all the Z1/Bama guys will already be gone.

Yep! Todd's "broken" G was stickin' it to the turns on the Skyway. I was impressed.

Yup. I did all that with a blown lower control arm bushing on the front left, the control arm was shifted, I'll take a pic of it.... which I think is why my slip like kept coming on and VDC killed me in right handers. Also, did all that on 100% crappy Nexen tires on the front. God I hate those things. Oh, and my alignment was off, I think I should have a little more turn in than I have now (from dumping it.)

Even with those few "readjusted things" it still handles like a champ.

Next year, I'm running stickies. lol Then we'll see what she can really do.
Russ is a far better driver than I am, but I learned a lot just from watching his lines in and out of corners over the years. A steady hand and foot on the pedal makes for a fast car.

How are your compression rod bushings? I need to replace mine.. everything else is still in check for me though, luckily. No surprise there though, they are always the first to go on lowered Z/G's.

Don't know. Seem alright, but I haven't taken it off. I do know the inner control arm bushing is shhhhhhhhhhhhot. Like, my control arm moves around inside the bracket. LOL
