Have you seen this '94 vert in Auburn?

From the pictures you can tell that this car would really stand out in Auburn (wrong color scheme for that town if there ever was one), also note the power passenger seat and seat fabric being custom, and the door speakers being replaced (not that good I might add).

If you know of this car, please send me a PM or reply to this thread, this related to a probable eBay scam, thanks.

Yeah the only white Z32 I have seen is a hard top. Never seen a convertible w/ maroon interior. I will keep my eyes peeled for you though.

Wow that is ugly.

I agree that it is UGLY given that color scheme, but I had plans to either change the interior and top to charcoal or sell it to someone supporting that "other" school in the state. I'm sure they would think the color scheme was beautiful.

Even knowing that Bamer fans have little taste, I hope that noone would drive around with a crimson and suede interior. The seats look comfortable.

What do you mean it's related to a possible scam? You looking at buying it?

I don't think that was even a factory color combo. Must have been burgundy at one time. You can tell it's been repainted. I do agree it's an odd color combo.

:) LOL - I can think of a few that would probably love to have a car with that color scheme and if they had to replace the top, why not go with (clownstooth) houndstooth.

It was listed on eBay earlier this week, but the seller was canceling all bids unless he/she was contacted first. This was not included in the actual auction listing. Upon initial contact via eBay's message system, the seller would then email the interested party and inform them that payment would only be accepted through eBay's system. Again, this was not stated in the auction listing. At the end of the auction, parties that had contacted the seller were sent an email from ebaymotors@pay-for-item.com (whois link (http://www.betterwhois.com/bwhois.cgi?verification=1552&domain=payment-for-item.com&submitbtn=Continue)), which included a fake invoice for the car.

I had been in contact with eBay regarding this item prior to the end of the auction and am trying to assist them in identifying the scam artist. I'm sure that the car isn't even located on the east coast, much less in Auburn, but wanted to check anyway. There is an Auburn address (Panda Court) listed on the fake invoice, and it is real but not connected with the seller/scammer.

After the auction, the seller claimed to be out of state for a conference, however they way in which they described it would easily let anyone know that too was just BS.

I'm not out anything other than a little time, but I don't mind that since anyone who may fall victim to this person is obviously a Z-car fan.

I guess those B pillars stay up when the top drops? Never noticed that on the verts before.

Actually the car has been KH6 since production according to Z-BUM's registry (http://www.az-zbum.com/cgi-bin/z32history.pl?JN1RZ27D2RX010182). Since I've never seen that combination of leather/cloth seating from the factory, I'm sure it was the interior that was changed, not to mention that the only power passenger seats I've seen for a Z32 have been drivers seats from a RHD model.

Nope. I'd probably do the houndstooth top and keep the interior red/exterior white. Then I'd sell it to someone from the University of West Vance :humpsheep: for at least about SIX times more than I had in it!!

The John Deere Green with a Yellow TOP and you could get some feed sacks for the seat covers.....strap you some horns on the hood....the people on the plains would think it was the coolest thing since the cotton gin. :D

Nah, just paint the whole thing yellow, yellow top and interior and sell it to Jimmy Rane.
