New to Bama

Hello. I just moved to Birmingham for work and wanted to introduce myself.

I am from Houston and have a 2010 MW G37 Coupe.
Just wandering if people can give me some tips.

I was wondering what are some reputable places to get an oil change for a fair price along with shops that do installations like springs/spoiler/sway bars/ and I guess everything else in Birmingham.

Yeah, the part of bham that you're in is directly related to the shadiness of the shops to which you might take the car.

Anyway, welcome here from Houston. If you want to feel like you're at home, head east/south on Hwy280 about 5 o'clock this afternoon. LOL

Any of the guys here would be more than willing to give you a tour of Bham. We also get together (a small group anyway) on Wednesday nights in different locations. PM me your number and I'll have Eric add you to the text list then you can come out and hang.

Thanks. Im just off of I-65 on Lakeshore. I done some searching and what not on myg37 to see if there are a lot of enthusiasts here. I just found out that you guys have your own site here. Im surprised that Ive seen more Gs here than I have in Houston. I have seen a couple of Z's too. I know of a black Nismo one that parks where I work off of Lakeshore. Maybe it belongs to somebody here?

:werd: I live off of Lakeshore, too. There's an Express Lube in Wildwood I usually go to if you just need an oil change. If you need more serious stuff done I'd contact Brad@ZSolutions for service or Dan@Assaultech for parts. The guys at Z1 in Carrolton, GA are good, too, just a little farther away.

Welcome. I would go to Z1 for anything you need done. I wouldn't take my car or money to Brad at Z Solutions personally. I hear he does good work though. Just not a fair guy IMO. BTW I actually have been pleased with how Crown Nissan has treated me, so if you just didn't want to do maintenance yourself, I would suggest checking them out.
