I want my Engine bay to look good, so far I'm getting my plenum powdercoated to a chrome finish and ordered my polished intake tube.
I'm just wondering if I should keep it simple or throw some color into the mix.
I was thinking about getting a red grounding kit, for looks... maybe some coolant hoses that are red or just new black ones.
Let me know your ideas... oh yea, and my car is DB so there is already plently of blue (I don't want any blue hoses because it will be overwhelming).

i think the best thing you could do is get a couple of turbos in there. that would look SEXY

Have you considered painting your covers? I had mine painted LS, and plan on eventually doing Samco hoses as well.
I would be consistent...don't do red hoses and paint your covers blue, ya know? You could get polished hose clamps/locks to match your plenum. Jae has some really good looking ones on his car.

That WOULD be cool... if I had about 6-8K laying around, didn't have warranty, didn't daily drive her, and didn't worry about the engine blowing up... so another 3K laying around.
I'll leave that money to the project car I'm already looking for... lol but thx

What color Samco hoses are you going to get? I know they have yellow, blue, red, and black; not sure of what else.

Someone makes orange ones (not sure if it's Samco or not), but that's what I'm getting. There's just not many colors that go w/ orange, besides black or silver...but neither of those stand out enough.
Edit: I found this, I think they are Samco hoses. If I didn't have a CF engine cover I'd have that painted, too. I asked Jonathan about coating it orange so it'd look like orange CF...but he said orange doesn't work real well for that.

I know what you mean, that's why I decided to go opposite color so it can stand out better.
Oh, and do you know where I can get those polished clamps?

Oh yeah that looks awesome! And I think a CF engine cover would look good on there :borat:

Jae got his here (http://www.zeetoyz.com/Chrome1-Ring-Kit.html) I think. Let me check my Photobucket and see if I have an installed picture.
He went ahead and got all the polished caps, too.

The pi-thon clamps are not that nice. I got a full set for my samco hoses and they don't go on well or clamp well. I tried for hours and some of them don't even fit once you put the hose onto where it belongs. They really are not worth the money...just my experience though.
The Samco hoses are a nice addition though.

 Those hoses look good, now it makes me want red ones. Let's just hope I don't change my mind... (for Bill's sake).

Took me four hours for the fucking hoses and the clamps to go on right. There is little trick to it. And they look awesome once they are installed right.
