Ok this is kind of a stupid question but i justnever thought about it but my buddy was following me last night and pointed out that i have way to many brake lights! i have the one on the spoiler and the normal two on the side and then i have the one comming through the back window. Just wondering if anybody else has thought about disconnecting the one comming through the back window??

I've thought about that too when I've seen it. They should probably delete the window brake light if a wing is an option.

haha, i really don't see how having too many brake lights is a problem.....i want people to see me hitting my brakes at night

yea i dont think it is a problem, but i have yet to figure out how Infiniti determined which cars you put the one inside the rear window:confused:

95% of Gs that ive seen with a wing dont have that light on the inside but i know that Josh's and one other i know has it, and they both came with a wing, i cant find the difference

maybe certain years with the spoiler option came with the 3BL and they later deleted it

it usually means the car didn't have a spoiler on it from the factory (japan) tho it could of had it put on at the dealer, the dealer could have put it one before it was put on the lot (before anyone looked at it to buy), or the orginal owner decided to get it put on when they purchased it, i have a wing and it doesn't have a "4th" light

It may have come from the DEALER with a spoiler, but not the factory. If it was scheduled to be produced with a wing, it didn't have the window light added.

how can i tell if the aero kit was added at the factory or at the dealer?

I'd say a good sign is if you have the 4th brake light. :D

Won't make any difference in resale value or buyer appeal. I wouldn't worry about it. If it were my car, though, I'd disconnect the rear window light. But that's just me. I also don't like tinted taillights... so just remember that free opinions are worth exactly what you pay for them. ;)

yea i kinda thought that the dealer might have added it too but everyone that has the 4th says it "came from the factory like that" like Josh, and ive seen it on all years from 03-06

yea i have also looked around and cant find any pattern as to why its like that but i think i am just gonna unhook it because its just way to much going on back there i don't think it looks good at all

no you shouldnt, i would be the same as having a burnt out bulb, which would not cause a light on the dash
