2. Turtle Wax wax
3. Turtle Wax Ice car wash
4. Black Magic Tire Wet Spray

7. Rain-X Windshield Washer Fluid

What do you detailing guys think about this stuff? I've never waxed or clayed in my life, so it's a first for me. Any advice on how to use it properly? Also, I need some sort of stainless steel cleaner for the cans. Any advice on what to get? Thanks everyone.

You don't have any towels or applicator pads. I'd buy a couple of packs of microfiber towels and foam applicator pads, they work better than the mf ones. I'm going to try not to bash your Turtle Wax and Armor All...
1. Wash car w/soap and mitt
2. Rinse bucket and mitt
3. Refill bucket and use mitt to lubricate each panel with soapy water
4. Rub clay on paint in horizontal or vertical direction, no circles. Make sure you pick anything out of the clay that gets stuck in there. Do one panel at a time, and rinse after you clay.
5. Rinse bucket and mitt and re-wash.
6. Dry
7. Apply wax THINLY with foam applicator pad. Only horizontal or vertical, no circles. It doesn't take a ton to get the job done. I'd do one or two panels at a time and let it dry. Keep it away from the weather stripping or it will be a hell of a time getting it out of the hard to reach places.
8. Spray quick detailer on microfiber and buff off wax. Once it dries it will look hazy, don't let it cake on or it's hard to get off.
9. Apply tire shine to applicator pad or spray it on and make sure you wipe off the wheels. Make sure you spray the wheel wells also.
10. Clean glass. Clean interior.
This is just scraping the surface. The tips and tricks come naturally when you've done it a dozen times. Maybe David can throw in some advice.

Thanks dude! I'll refer back to this before I wash. I'm not going for absolute taped-off perfection, so hopefully my Turtle Wax will do it for me.

dont do it half way. if its worth doing its worth doing right. i like mothers for the cans(i need to do mine). try to stay out of sunlight, and let the wax dry completly. i like to apply the whole car, then clean the interior while it dries. also i use a wheel wax fo rmy wheels. not for the shine as much for the protection and ease of cleaning the next time.
