Well a little history first. My Z was origanally Purple and yellow, yes it was hideous, so i color changed it to a chevy red (GM super red) with a 300 doller per gallon clear coat. Got some JDM tails, the 99 front facia, stillen sides, and shaved the tt spoiler and rear winshield wiper. Then added some Blits type III's to complete the look.
Now ive replaced every sensor, and wiring harness in the engine bay. installed a doolz intake, rebuilt the motor from the ground up and cleaned every square inch of the already color changed engine bay. Hopefully this sat. i will have some pics of the project as it starts. I am reassembling my motor from the bearrings and crank all the way to reinstalling the motor back into the Z and starting her up, so if your interested in how it goes and some of my part choices, stay tuned to this page as i will post pics as they are taken. Until then here is one to part with :)

OK i think i remember talking to you, i think you both were representing bamagz pretty strongly and prollu were the ones that gave me the card.
Here are a few group pics of the parts going in. I cant appologise enough for how bad the quality is but it gives you an idea of it. The only thing internally wise that is missing on the pics is the eagle rods i also ordered. dont worry ill take more step by step pics with a better camera as i put her together. enjoy :)
Tein S springs (just temporary till i can drop some more bones on coil overs) and steering rack bushings as well as rear sway bar bushings. (front sway bar bushings are on back order as well as shock boots to replace the decentigrated stockers)
First group pic of Nissan OEM engine rebuild kit, Koyo radiator, billion thermostat, wiseco forged aluminum ceramic coated pistons w/ wiseco piston rings, magnesium valve guides, ACL racing bearings, new knock sensor and harness, New Nissan OEM oil dip stick and tube, black cuplers to replace the ugly blue ones, and New TT Nissan OEM oil pump
this pic includes Z1 58mm throttle bodies, hard lower coolant pipe, upper silicone pipe brake booster silicone hoses, turbo oil return silocone hoses, IACV silicone hoses, new PCV valve hoses and barb fittings for PCV valve re route, AMS underdrive pulley kit and turbo manifolds w/ all new studs and hardware, GREX metal head gaskets, CZP solid radiator bracket (it has since been engraved with FAIRLADYAFFAIR hehe) Polyurethane/steel motor mounts (think solid but with vibration but no noise thank you ebay) and last but not least a magnetic oil drain plug.
There is much more to come picture wise so stay tuned my fellow Z friends

YEAA more updates, finally got the block and crank back today. Still waiting on the heads but i can atleast knock out the hard stuff before i get them back.
it looks as though i might be able to drop the motor in the car next weekend, that is if the machinest finishes the 5 angle valve job on my heads before this coming thursday. Until then i have alot of work ahead of me assembling said block but made really good progress today. Yes i have some pics :D
Crank cleaned and balanced, ignore the roller board in the backround, some tool in a jacked up dodge (huge) was using it to roll underneath his truck...he couldnt even reach the bottom of it...idiot.
Block with main studs screwed in place
Gurdle with ACL racing bearings clipped in place
block with crank, bearings, and gurdle in place and torqued to 65 ft lbs
block bored to 88mm
Fully assempled Wiseco forged and ceramic coated pistons and rings with Eagle H beam rods

I don't think any externals fit between the ET and DE/TT due to port shapes and bolt/stud locations. Only the bottom end stuff interchanges. DE/DETT cranks and flywheels can be made to fit the E/ET, just requires milling the oil pump snout down to fit the E/ET pump. Even the Z32 trannies bolt up, albeit with a Maxima flywheel and Infiniti M30 starter.
I would love to get your front brake setup if you go aftermarket.:D

Thanks for the info, i will be going that route eventually but right now its not in the cards. After the build i plan on doing some suspension work and interior mods and then ill get to the brakes and im not going cheap so it will be a good min. WHEN i finally do get to it (maybe ill run across a deal you ever know thats how the build started :) if your still in the market ill make sure i hook you up, like sell it to you for shipping cost plus 50 bucks or something rediculously cheap, im not out to make money on my used parts just help another Z fanatic out ya know lol

there are still some bugs to work out. when i get back i plan on throwing up the test pipes and H-pipe and running a self diagnostic to see what codes shes throwing, i think i just crossed over the O2 sensor and the number 5 harness but not totally sure, wish me luck. I am currently in Alabama with my Mom. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and is going under the knife tomorrow morning. I ask a favor, if any of you like to pray please do it for my mom, my family has alreayd been rocked pretty hard by the cancer disease thanks in advance...

i really appreciate that, good news though just got word that they got all the cancer! She is doing great and should be out of surgery around 4:30 this afternoon. She will be in recovery for several hours and probably will be out of it but everything is going great.
Like i said hopefully we can get together. I am looking to go back to T-town I(tallassee AL) some time today so ill be in the general area ill see if i cant get up with you...although it wont be in the Z. Still have to do timing, TPS adjustment, oil pressure gauge needs to be fixed (wiring probably needs to be re saudered to the main connectors) and double check all my vacuum hoses, clamps bolts, bolt up exhaust system, and then run a self diagnostic to be sure shes running perfect, but she is running. Ill try and get a video clip of her once all is ready to go.

-latest updates-I has having some serious issues with it ideling and backfiring and it turns out my belt slipped a tooth. Tore it all down to find my tensioner failed on me so i installed a Greddy Kevlar belt and a new Nissan Tensioner. Got lucky on the timing belt thing installed the timing belt and a new tensioner this saturday and put about 250 miles into the break in, a good chunk of which was driving out to New Bern NC to see Nate (Zenthusiast.net member) and use his data scanner which shed some light on a few problems. While i was there we used an exstension cord he tore apart's guts (ghetto i know but it got the job done) to tighten the spring on my driver side throttle body because it wasnt closing properly and i adjusted the balance between the two to get the idle right and got him to compare the sound mine was making under crusing speeds to his old "buck" he used to experience before his "ziplock" mod. (doolz problem elimentated by flower pots in nates case huge ziplock bowls) There was some down time while i was waiting for my tensioner to show up once i diagnosed that as the reason for the timing slip sooo i went ahead and threw on my Tein SS springs and WOW i love the look they gave her. She is running great now, strong but running rich and still needs the "ziplock" mod but that will come very soon. In the mean time here are some pics of the lowering and some just for the hell of it. Nate thanks alot for the help yet again.

obviously its been a while since i have been on bama gz let alone updated my project page but heres the latest. Weeeelllll when i left to go to Z1 that time i had the upmost confidence in my build then i realised after i got there i had a dead cylnder. So i took it to a friend of mines transmission shop and he allowed me to use his lift to do my third engine pull, remove my driver side head take it to a machine shop replace my bent valve that had resulted from a stuck lifter as well as two lifters that were sticking due to my stupid mistakes. I got the head back within 3 hours thanks to the brothers machining across from the quintard mall in Oxford Alabama for jumping on it as quick as they did. re torqued the heads completely re assembled the motor and reinstalled it started her up and drove her back to North Carolina all within 3 days. Soon after that i noticed intermittent misfires below 2000 rpms which i discovered to be heavy corrosion in the injector wiring leading to high resistance in my wiring making for incorrect voltage etc etc. i have delt with that for some time and recently broke down and started dismembering and resplacing the segment of wire in my wiring harness that had such bad oxidation. In the mean time i have replaced my rear camber arms with the polished powertrix variation, a buddy owed me one and got them for me, repaired some of my wheel damage illiminating my high speed vibrations caused by the dents on my inner wheels (the outside are steel the inside part of my three piece wheels is alluminum making the inside dent much easier, ever seen that pot hole commerical?) Anyway i also fixed my driveshaft vibration turned out that was cause by the forged alluminum piece that attaches to the diff was not torqued properly (another newb mistake) as well as a bad u joint (probably caused by the vibration in the first place). The only way i was actually able to do any of this was by doing it myself otherwise i wouldnt be able to afford it. Plus now that i have moved back to Alabama and bought me a house my funding is cut alot shorter but i got a great job as a tech here in my home town of Tallassee Al and i have unlimited access to all the tools and lifts i would ever need for any project. anyhow there are much more details to each part of this long post but i hope to here any questions are comments on my update(s).

I dont have really any pictures to show any change of appearance. I could take some pics of the camber arms if you would like, they are very pretty not to mention the huge improvement in contact patch in the rear. Now the power and handeling diffrences i can assure you are something else. Ill be sure to make a vid sometime. Ill try and document a little of the wiring harness repair to shed some light on what i was trying to explain earlier.

well i managed to finish re fitting my injector connectors on my wiring harness. I had forgotten how bad i used to suck at this electrical stuff, the new wiring job is much cleaner and much cleaner of a tuck away. You would have to look under the hood to really appreciate it. Also threw in some new spark plugs which should make a great deal diffrence after seeing how badly fowled from all the oil it was burning on the last few trips due to the dead cylnder or two. Unfortunatly i couldnt start it up to verify she is all good lol. Battery was so dead from sitting a week or two in this cold weather with the slow draw from the security light that it wouldnt even turn the interior lights on. With no jumper cables in sight i was forced to wait till i picked mine up from my moms garage where i have been storing most of my extra crap since i moved home until i can fix me a place at my new house for it all. I got some pictures of some of the wire prep not very interesting but ill throw some pics of the old girl in there to spice it up a bit. cheers
