i am looking for a oem or aftermarket strut bar any you might have laying around off of a 350z or atleast borrow it if i am able to come to the autox

well if you can find it let me know there are alot of them for sale on my350z and they are only like $20-25 but i just dont wanna pay shippin and have to wait and it might not get here in time

Sorry, still running the stock bar on my car. I want the Carbing Bar, just havent done it yet,

I still have my OEM strut tower bar. If you'd like to borrow it to run then I can bring it out with me, you will need to bring the bolts to mount it down and the rachet to do it with and I'll need it back afterward.
I doubt you need one to run though, but I could be wrong.

i have been wanting one anyway i just bought one of my350 but if it doesnt come in i might have to borrow yours if you dont mind but wat kinda of bolts? doesnt it just use the strut bolts?

Yup, do you already have strut bolts if there is no bar there?

i have the 3 bolts that hold the strut im guessing i have to have more?

I thought I heard that it didn't fit on the G, but that never really made sense to me. I never looked into it though.

yea i just found that out i doesnt make sense they everyone on driver says it doesnt so i got my $ back for the one i bought o well i guess ill just have to save up for a $200 one

I have a VRT bar sitting in the garage.... but its a royal PITA to install.... take off front wheels, pull and replace the front A arm bolt, Sheesh
no wonder I haven't installed it!

lol, heck no. it'll be installed in June :-D
I think the 350z bars don't fit because the engine sits a bit higher in the G's. Also, I don't know if the distance between strut mounts is different.
I know on G's the big challenge was the distance from the top of the engine to the hood - there isn't much space there.
If you want a bar, Stillen, ARC, and one guy on the G forum makes a replica bar but. I have heard those bars make a bit of a difference but if you want one that supposedly makes a huge difference look up the VRT bars on driver. THey are mounted in front of the engine instead of across the top and have different mount points. There was a group buy going on a few months ago. They were going for $475 shipped or something. Very rare, but worth it I am told. It's one of the only things VRT made that was worth it in the long run.

yea i found out about the 350z thing but o well the VRT is a lil outa my price range im not gonna spend $500 for a bar
maybe ill find a cheap used bar one of these days
