I took it back in 2004 and enjoyed it so much I kept autocrossing. That might not be what you like but this event will show you the limits of the car in a safe, legal environment.

Who are the instructors?
10 - 15 of the senior club members who have autocross, time trial and club racing experience. Some 20 years+ and others like me with 4.

Do you set up certain scenarios like decreasing radius, slalom, etc. could you give a little more info on the things you will be doing at this school. I am interested would just like a little more detail.

This is a synopsis of Saturday. We plan to have 6 groups switching in one hour intervals.
1. Hands Position Course - Each group will split in two at this feature to maximize the students time. This will be the very, VERY slow (put in gear and idle around) feature that we have had in the past teaching proper hands positioning and steering.
2. Rest - Because we split two features and because we are shooting for 6 groups we needed one to rest. This spot can be used for general tech questions, car setup or handling questions. I would also like the group instructors to go over the basic course working / safety information that we do in our drivers meetings - Course worker safety, down and out rule, how to use a radio, red flags, etc...
3. Skid Pad - This is a 50-60' skid pad on the back side of the lot.
4. Kidney Bean - Increasing/decreasing radius turns.
5. Slalom - Basic 4 or 5 cone slalom with a braking zone at the end and a 180 (can be taken slow or fast).
6. Emerg. Lane Change - Approching a decision point at 40 mph and the instructor points to the direction to take.
Lunch will be served around the trailer.

Bump.
This is almost a week away. For only $40.00 you should not be able to have this much fun legally.
Among the instructors are 3 Z drivers that have competed at the National level in SCCA, my son Josh, Tony and I. We have one of the RWD high HP groups. The other group has John and Brad Clarke, long time Corvette and Mustang drivers.

Bump.
If you haven't singned up yet you can sign up at the classroom session tomorrow evening. Saturday will be wet but that means the exercises will be easier on tires. Hope some of you can take advantage of it.
