Couple of guys asked for a intro so here it is. Name is Lee, I live in Gadsden, been around the Z community since august of 2003. Dyno'd last week on the heartbreaker @ 322.7 RWHP

Nice lookin Z man. David has sent me a few pics of it before.. didn't he get his V1 bumper from you? Anyway, you should bring the Z and/or the EVO out to the track day when we get it together. Welcome :D

He got the duct, the lip and the wing from me. I think I am the one that told him about Jonathon also. Yeah I am always up for a track day.

Now I just need some USDM Nismo sides and rears and my kit is complete...performance mods first though :driving:

Shouldn't you be pushing more than 322 with a SC ?? I could be wrong.
322 rwhp on the "Heartbreaker" at Forged equates to about 353 rwhp on a different dyno. I don't know why...something about the type of dyno maybe? I'm sure Lee can explain. I'm pretty sure it's a conservative tune, too.

Yeah but he is fixing to trade it for a Avalanche and Jeff has his Z but going to get rid of it and get a 335i (i think thats the correct number not up on BMW).

The heartbreaker reads about 10% lower than most, i usually dyno around 340-350 ish. I am sure you know this but its not about how much HP you have its how much and how quick you get it under the curve. Example what good is HP in the Z that is made between 6000 and 6500 on the DE? you can only use it for 500 RPM, on the other hand if you make that HP aat 4500 rpm you are kicking some serious butt. When you read a dyno chart dont look at just the peak HP look at the average HP. Average HP witll kick Peak HPs ass anyday.

From everyone i have talked to, the "safest" HP for a FI Z on stock internals is between 350 and 375. The tune is a little fat in the middle, but reliability is a big thing with me.

I have been FI since about 12k miles and she just turned over 40k, without so much as a check engine light, that was my goal. And i was tired of getting my butt kicked by stock EVOs and STIs :D

Nope she is done.....cant think of anything else to do to it. Gonna just drive and enjoy it now.

ya think? I have another car sitting in the garage that has 454RWHP and weights about 2600-2700 pounds, built by ENJUKU RACING in Florida from the ground up. What kinda HP you putting down?
