This fall has been pretty busy between school, football season & holidays. I hope everyone has had a great 2009 (seems like New Years was just a few weeks ago!) Working on planning a big BamaGZ Fall Meet within the next month or so. Thinking sometime around Thanksgiving would work well. A meet, barbeque & cruise sounds juuuust right :)

Everyone's favorite Z/G meet is coming up in less than a month! Zdayz @ Tail of the Dragon is one of the most exciting meet's I have ever had the pleasure to attend, and the 2009 meet is rolling around in about 2 weeks. For anyone that hasn't been, I strongly encourage you check out the site www.zdayz.com and if you need a place to stay, let me know. I believe there are a couple cabins left.

If you are already planning on attending, be sure to service your vehicle before heading up. Driving on the Dragon can be just as stressful as tracking your car. Check brakes, oil, tranny & diff fluid, tires, air filter, etc. I would also recommend bringing walkie talkies with you to keep up with everyone as cell phone service will bebasically non-existent.

I have updated the BamaGZ logo as of yesterday. Leave me some feedback on whether you approve or not!

We have a few big events coming up in the next few months. Z-Attack in Nashville falls in April and ZdayZ at the Tail of the Dragon is the highlight of May. I urge as many of you guys to try and attend as possible! Let's rep the BamaGZ!!

I originally speculated with all of the stress from upcoming finals that this new website would not be up until after Christmas break. However, I found myself with a lot of downtime and decided to throw it together. Once I get started on something like this, it is hard to stop. Hope everyone enjoys the new layout (at least it's a SMALL increase from the original). Shoot me a PM or E-MAIL if you have any suggestions.

As of December 08, 2008 I am completely redoing the BamaGZ site. I, as I'm sure most of you, am getting tired of the plain picture on the main screen and have decided to develop a webpage for BamaGZ to go along with the forum. It will allow members to easily keep up with events, meet photos, our vendors and featured projects in the G/Z community. Stay tuned!
